Further to this blog "Alternative Bluetooth for Amateur Radio", I came across the following device on ebay. Perform the same function and much cheaper... really tempted to get it to try... anyone keen to join... would save some shipping if buying multiple units...

The unit is USD8.00+USD15.0 shipping... very simple to do it... I plan to order, then build a simple circuit to detect voice or button pressed on the unit and trigger the PTT for unit without Vox... most mobile rig do not have vox...
